The Perfect Cowboy Steak

Choose any cut of beef, preferably thick, well marbled, and bone in (if possible).

Let steak come to room temperature and pat dry with a paper towel to remove any moisture. (very important to get a good sear and crust)

Coat steaks with olive or canola oil and season liberally on both sides with “The Cowboy Shake”.

Grill, sear, or broil steaks to a medium rare to medium and let rest for at least 5 minutes (very important to keep the steaks juicy).
